With great interest in Chinese language and culture, a beautiful dream about the oriental big country and a common desire to promote friendship, hundreds of teachers and students from around the world spent the unforgettable beautiful days and nights together. The activities of youth camp have 5 parts, which are learning Chinese, experience Chinese Traditional Culture, sightseeing tours, outdoor activities and extracurricular activities.

    Learning Chinese
Studying Chinese is the most important aspect of the camp. Although it is very difficult, students study listening, speaking, reading and writing skills diligently and conscientiously.

    Experience Chinese Traditional Culture
The Chinese culture is extensive and profound. In the camp, camp members experience the quintessence of the Chinese traditional culture – calligraphy, traditional Chinese painting and Chinese knots.
Chinese martial arts are popular around the world. Camp members from different countries are passionate about Chinese martial arts, intoxicated by the powerful southern-style boxing, Shaolin boxing and long-range boxing and fascinated by the graceful Tai Chi fan.

    Sightseeing Tours
International sister cities’ camp members go to Shanghai’s university campuses. The City God Temple and Yu Garden carry the old Shanghai’s history, and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower reflects the new Shanghai’s development.
After busy study and sightseeing, they go to ordinary Shanghai citizens’ homes to experience Chinese-style family life; go to the zoo to watch pandas; pick grapes in vineyard. These activities are welcomed by foreign students.

    Outdoor Activities
In Oriental Land, activities such as “kite flying” full of oriental charm and the “summer water carnival” releasing youthful energy bring infinite joy to camp members. In competitions such as the “friendly dragon boat match”, “funny bridge crossing competition” and “going through the pass bravely”, camp members perfectly interpret the enterprising spirit.

    Extracurricular activities
Rich and colorful extracurricular activities not only enrich the evening activities of the Campers, but also enhance the friendship between them. Activities such as singing Chinese songs, rope jumping, shuttlecock, watching movies, giving a ball, birthday partying all add fun to the camp.
